MET Energia Italia, the Milan-based subsidiary of Swiss-headquartered energy company MET Group, is stepping up its support for Italy’s industrial sector by developing solar plants for around 600 energy-intensive companies. Under Italy’s Energy Release Scheme, the company will act as an aggregator for the industrial customers, with a cumulated annual electricity consumption of more than 6 TWh.

Swiss-based energy company MET Group will remain the main partner of the 28-year-old Swiss judo world champion Nils Stump until the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. This underlines MET’s willingness to promote judo in general and outstanding talents in particular.

MET Polska, the Warsaw-based subsidiary of Swiss-headquartered energy company MET Group, will supply green energy in 2026 to Elomoto, a Polish operator of electric vehicle charging stations. The partnership aims to support the rapid expansion of EV charging infrastructure across Poland.
